PartyGaming has signed a sponsorship deal with BSI, rights holders of the world championship FIM Speedway Grand Prix series (SPG).
PartyGaming is one of the world’s leading online gambling companies and the parent company of Party Casino and Party Poker.
The new deal will result in PartyGaming becoming an Elite sponsor of the 2007 SPG Series and the title sponsor of three of the eleven Grand Prix rounds.
Using the brand PartyPoker.com, the title sponsor events will be officially referred to as: The FIM Partypoker.com Swedish Speedway Grand Prix; The FIM Party Poker.com CasinoRoom $100 bonus Slovenian Speedway Grand Prix and the FIM PartyPoker.com Czech Republic Speedway Grand Prix.
Managing Director of Speedway, BSI, Paul Bellamy, was delighted with the new sponsorship arrangement: “It is a measure of the Series’ success that we continue to attract new sponsors like PartyGaming to the world championship. We are looking forward to working closely with PartyGaming to build the PartyPoker.com brand. The huge growth of our television distribution means that companies such as PartyGaming see world championship speedway as an ideal vehicle to increase awareness and propel growth of their brands and products.”
PartyGaming spokesman Rory Anderson said: “We’re pleased to be working with BSI and are very happy to get involved in world championship speedway for the very first time. It is an exciting worldwide sport and we’re happy to add it to our expanding sponsorship portfolio.”
The 11 round 2007 FIM Speedway Grand Prix Series begins in Italy on 28 April and concludes in Germany on 13 October.
